Intellectual Property Operations Specialist - Trust and Safety
Responsibilities
The IP Ops Specialist role is part of the Global IP Ops team (Trust and Safety). The team covers all contact with our community and rightsholders with regard to intellectual property (IP) removal requests. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast paced and global, operational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Process high volumes of IP removal requests efficiently and accurately.
- Handle Trademark and Copyright queries and escalations in an efficient manner.
- As opportunities arise, collaborate cross-functionally with a variety of global stakeholders to participate in projects aimed at improving processes and tools that allow the team to work more efficiently.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in an IP support, IP consulting role or a similar operations setting for a minimum of 1 year, and/or a relevant (Bachelor or Master) degree in technology, policy, or law / IP law with a good understanding of basic IP concepts.
- Proficient with technology and tool usage.
- Strong communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Available for regular, scheduled weekend shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fast learner with an appetite for continuous learning and adaptability.
- Flexible and comfortable in a very fast paced environment, willing to adjust to team's needs as needed.
- Strong sense of teamwork and enthusiasm.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- Any second language skills would be highly appreciated. The position will have global coverage, so some expertise in different languages will be considered a plus.
