Responsibilities

The Industry Activation Strategist team serves as a strategic partner to the Sales organization, delivering high-level industry insights and identifying opportunities to advance client maturity on our platform. We are responsible for driving incremental growth across key industries and verticals, while continuously enhancing our client-centric approach to help shape TikTok's next generation of sales teams.

This is an important role reporting to the Head of Client Solutions in UK Global Business Solutions team. The Industry Activation Strategist will have deep knowledge of the vertical industry business landscape, online advertising, consumption patterns and campaign measurement. This role will be responsible for conducting industry research, developing strategic yearly roadmap for high-value clients address key client/industry challenges, and generate insights that feed vertical-wide strategic priorities. You anticipate how client decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the insights that shape the vertical, and can clearly articulate how our product suite can help clients in the Vertical industry can grow their business on TikTok.

The Industry Activation Strategist will work cross-functionally, with the Client Solutions Managers, Brand Partnership Managers, Product Solutions & Operations, Global Business Marketing, Measurement, and Research & Insights teams.

Responsibilities
- Refine the approach to deepen key client's maturity approach on TikTok
- Collate vertical learnings & insights across various internal & external data sources (i.e. campaign data / learnings, platform user data, market data, case studies, product data, etc.)
- Identify winning campaign strategies / templates that can provide maximum business value and drive continuous consumption in the vertical
- Scale insights and strategies across the vertical to elevate client pitches and/or drive adoption & standardisation of winning campaign strategies
- Educate Sales, Marketing, Measurement and Product teams on the latest headwinds, tailwinds and trends in the industry to inspire new ways of driving consumption for clients (i.e. thought leadership, product development, test & learn plans, etc.)
- Attend high-value client meetings as a key point of reference for clear and authoritative market research and industry insights

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
- Relevant vertical experience
- Proven experience with executive presence and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage C-level executives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in articulating complex industry-wide challenges and opportunities, in a simple, easy to digest way for senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience using advertising data to craft campaign strategies across full funnel objectives.
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive alignment on recommended campaign strategies.
- Expert in digital marketing.

Preferred qualifications:
- Strong understanding of TikTok's product & measurement suite.
- Excellent critical thinking & analytical skills.
- Proactive attitude with a growth mindset, eager to learn, with ego in check.
