About the Team
HR Compliance and Governance focuses on various legal and external regulatory requirements for human resources. Our main goals are to ensure the company complies with laws and regulations related to labor and employment during global business development, and to help the company solve compliance and governance issues related to "people and organization."
This role will play a part in key HR projects with a specific focus on ensuring TikTok complies with legal and regulatory requirements. You will work with APAC colleagues on a day-to-day level and engage with stakeholders across the business globally.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the investigation and understanding of internal client needs, and provide thoughtful, well-grounded recommendations and compliance guidance that balances HR management principles, regulatory requirements, and business needs.
- Collect and analyze data, ensuring data accuracy and consistency; assist with the development and optimization of corresponding HR policies, processes, and system functions.
- Support the development and planning of HR strategies through analysis and research; transform insights into operational initiatives.
- Assist with the design and cascade of written and oral communications and presentations for HR and business team stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimal Qualifications:
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) with a knack for asking great questions and identifying core issues.
Familiarity with Excel; strong ability to navigate data with systematic thinking and attention to detail.
Proactive and willing to take on challenges.
Responsible and positive work attitude with good abilities to deal with challenging tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
A background in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Commerce, Law, Politics, or related fields.
Previous work experience or internships in Human Resources, Project Management, or Compliance.
