HR Operations Partner - USDS - New York
Responsibilities
Team Intro
Join our TikTok HR team as an HR Operations Partner working with our U.S. Data Security teams. You will join a fast-growing company and help shape our TikTok people experience. You will help facilitate key employee life-cycle and operational activities in partnership with our business leaders, USDS HR, and Global Center of Excellence teams. To enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.
Responsibilities:
- Working very closely with the HRBPs, Business Leaders, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations, and Employment Legal this role will provide expert coordination and support to USDS employees. Specifically, you will support:
- Accurate data entry and reporting by utilizing several HR systems such as Workday, Equifax, and Sterling.
- Coordinate high volumes of new hire background checks, pre-onboarding, and onboarding efficiently and quickly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for Day 1 and new employee orientation.
- Process employee terminations by preparing and collecting paperwork, and partnering with various supporting teams to ensure smooth execution of offboarding procedures.
- Provide insight, first-line support for all routine employee inquiries, and explanation of HR system and administrative activities supporting HR processes.
- HR-related projects concerning administration, compliance, operations, and employee experience.

- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to and update Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of corporate HR coordination or generalist experience.
- Proficiency in MS Suite, HRIS, Workday, and other HR technology tools.
- Excel skills, including proficiency in performing VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with employees, stakeholders, and candidates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a high-growth technology startup environment is preferred. This includes exposure to fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings where agility, adaptability, and innovation are valued.
- Experience scaling HR processes, implementing HR initiatives to support growth, and navigating organizational change.
- Proven ability to autonomously manage multiple projects concurrently, with strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree; preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (hourly)
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $34- $56.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
