Team Intro:
Join the TikTok HR team as an HR Business Partner working with our Trust & Safety Operations teams. This is a full-service organization designed to build trust and confidence in protecting US user data and content assurance. We focus on compliance, safety strategies, and moderation for content involving US users' private data. You will join a fast-growing company and help shape our TikTok people experience. This position will be responsible for employee relations matters, people manager advice and coaching, on/offboarding, engagement programs, performance management approach, workforce planning, and recruitment support. You will help facilitate key employee life-cycle and operational activities in partnership with our business unit, HR, and the center of excellence teams. To enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change.

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support these specialized teams. This role will drive core people initiatives, coach leaders, and provide operational HR expertise while navigating a complex and evolving regulatory environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both strategic HR practices and employee relations, with the ability to influence across regional and global teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to business leaders, translating organizational goals into actionable people strategies.
Coach leaders on key people matters, including talent development, organizational design, team effectiveness, and performance enablement.
- Lead and support cyclical HR initiatives, including performance management, engagement action planning, and calibrations.
- Partner with stakeholders on workforce planning, org design, and headcount modeling to ensure scalability and agility.
- Act as the first point of contact for people matters, including conflict resolution, employee relations, and investigations in partnership with Legal and ER teams.
- Leverage insights and data to advise on organizational health, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with COE teams (Talent Acquisition, D&I, Compensation, L&D, etc.) to design and implement talent solutions that drive engagement and business results.
- Represent HR in change management efforts, ensuring communication, adoption, and team alignment.
- Scope: Senior individual contributor role - requires the ability to lead initiatives and influence cross-functionally without direct authority.
- RTO: To foster strong collaboration and support cross-functional work, this role follows a hybrid work model with a minimum of 3 days in-office per week (or as directed by your team/manager).

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a corporate HR Business Partner.
- Expertise in driving organizational effectiveness and transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated capability in managing both strategic and tactical HR programs.
- Proven ability to lead through complexity, ambiguity, and change.
- Strong background in employee relations, performance coaching, and HR operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience supporting Trust & Safety, Research Development, Data Scientist, Risk & Response, and/or Product Policy organizational pillars.
- Strong proficiency in data and metrics; ability to use tools like Tableau, Excel, or Power BI to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills; able to influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with highly regulated or secure business environments is a plus.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118560 - $216600 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
