About the Role
The ideal candidate is a visionary strategist with a strong foundation in vertical narratives and sales enablement. They should have proven experience in developing go-to-market plans, with a deep understanding of how to align global priorities with regional marketing goals and execution.
Responsibilities
- Research and Vertical Insights
- Conduct and represent research initiatives in collaboration with our Marketing Science team (both co-sponsored and independent) focused on macro trends, customer profiles, pain points, and industry-specific objectives, advocating for regional needs.
- Commerce and Non-Commerce narratives
- Develop external-facing narratives for global priority verticals covering commerce and non-commerce verticals as well as product-led narratives, crafting compelling toolkits and success stories in partnership with Product Marketing, Enterprise Marketing and regional teams.
- Drive go-to-market strategies for SMBs by working closely with our global product marketing team and regional marketing
- Product-led narratives
- Drive consistency in external product messaging across key solutions, including Smart+, TikTok One, TikTok Mobile, Search Ads, and Symphony.
- Build a strong value proposition and messaging for the SMB segment that amplifies TikTok For Business's strengths and support marketing efforts in alignment with global Product Marketing and Enterprise Marketing teams.
- Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
- Act as the connective tissue between Enterprise Marketing, Industry Operations, and regional marketing teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment across initiatives.
- Implement a "Hub and Spoke" model to facilitate knowledge sharing and strategic execution between the global team and regional marketing teams. Enable, collaborate and share learnings with regional counterparts to achieve true global success (leads, new customers, incremental revenue).
- Identify and package successful global content strategies for scaling across different regional markets, promoting knowledge transfer and best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a content strategy role.
- Experience designing and executing vertical content strategies and analyzing content strategy performance.
- Experience working with multiple cross-functional stakeholders in a global context.
- Expert written and verbal communicator, with the ability to articulate abstract concepts.
- Ability to identify opportunities, develop project scope and independently lead ideation and execution.
- Experience leading and collaborating across broader teams (Product, Marketing Science, Sales, Marketing) to define product value propositions and GTM plans.
Preferred Qualifications
- A deep understanding of the small and medium size landscape, their pain points and raison d'être.
- Experience at a startup or in an entrepreneurial environment in the tech industry.
