Responsibilities

About the Team:
The Global Privacy & Regulatory Affairs legal team manages and oversees privacy and regulatory matters and initiatives pertaining to TikTok's global operations. The team works cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders around the world. You will work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment where your analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills will play an impactful role in tackling some of the most complex, interesting, and cutting-edge issues at the intersection of privacy and technology. We are seeking highly motivated professionals to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Managing regulatory inquiries, investigations and enforcement actions related to privacy, data protection, and related topics in the US and globally.
- Handling all phases of a regulatory matter, including fact gathering and development, document review, witness preparation, preparing narrative responses, and engaging with regulators.
- Proactively developing strategies to address regulatory risk and strengthen the company's regulatory position, including working with cross-functional stakeholders to come up with effective, creative solutions.
- Working collaboratively with litigation, public policy, communications, and other teams on data privacy issues and initiatives.
- Advising on incident response notifications.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- US, EU, or UK qualified lawyer in good standing in their jurisdiction
