The Team
Our Global Legal team provides key support for all TikTok's innovative initiatives, state-of-the-art products, and integrated platforms servicing our global video market. We help our technological and business teams enable their vision by providing integrated legal guidance and support. The TikTok team is growing fast and is seeking highly experienced, bright and capable legal professionals to join the team. The Global Employment Law team provides strategic and practical legal advice to Human Resources and business stakeholders globally, and handles litigation matters involving TikTok in all the regions in which TikTok operates.
Responsibilities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and global business stakeholders to help inform global strategy and build global policies and practices (including HR Ops/ER/Mobility, Ethics, HR Compliance).

- Manage strategic global employment law projects, including collaboration with regional employment lawyers and SMEs.
- Serve as a strong contributor on legal compliance matters relating to employment issues.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance relating to employment issues for new business lines and markets globally.
- Create and lead training on global employment law issues.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Qualified to practice in the UK or Ireland and 5+ years PQE.
- Significant employment law experience in private practice with a highly regarded firm and/or a corporate legal department. Global employment law experience required.
- Proven ability navigating global employment law issues in various regions, including experience with works councils and legal consultation obligations, global investigations, global mobility issues, and global HR compliance issues.
- Demonstrated judgment, personal integrity, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work as a team player who can effectively collaborate with colleagues from the Global Legal team and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, including exceptional legal writing skills and the ability to craft persuasive and concise briefs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in technology companies or high growth startups.
- Prior experience in a large, multinational company environment.
