About the team:
The Global Trust and Safety Communications team at TikTok leads on initiatives to build public trust in our approach to platform safety and integrity. We are looking for a dynamic team player with a background in product comms to join our Global Communications team as Global Communications Product Risk & Compliance Operations.
As part of the Global Communications team at TikTok, you will play a role in highlighting TikTok's product vision and our commitment to constant technology innovation. This position is rooted in problem-solving and planning, organization and management, thinking and communication. As a key member of the team, you'll play a role in both the operational and administrative functions of the Global Communications team while also overseeing the whole product lifecycle across key verticals such as livestreaming, effect, monetization, and many more TikTok's most exciting features.
This role is for you if you are a solution-oriented collaborator, passionate about product and innovation, excel at project management, and are eager to build cross-functional relationships. You will work across the team serving as a liaison and trusted partner to the Product team, while also working with the broader Global Communications team around the world to support upcoming product launches and keep the team informed on important announcements. This is a role that spans multiple functional areas, so strong project management skills are highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the product team to understand new product features in-depth, including but not limited to product design, roadmap, content strategy, and more
- Work with the broader Global Communications team around the world to support upcoming product launches
- Ensure the global communications team is informed and updated on important upcoming new product features in order to plan and execute product stories
- Convert general considerations from non-technical teams into practical product suggestions, and vice versa
- Manage key product-related projects for the communications team
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in communications or product operations
- Passion for and avid use of TikTok products
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly and flexibly to change
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to explain complex technical information in an easy-to-understand way
- Extensive knowledge of public relations and tech product management
- Excel at balancing multiple and often competing priorities in a very fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and independent thinking skills
- Exceptional listening, interpersonal, as well as verbal and written communications skills
