We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2024. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.
We are the frontend team of the TikTok Data-TnS. TNS stands for Trust and Safety, reflecting our responsibility to maintain a secure and trustworthy environment for users of ByteDance's international products, including but not limited to TikTok.
The positions we are recruiting for is a frontend intern responsible for general service and data services within this business. Our frontend team is composed of developers from various regions, including Vancouver, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, working on building systems for data analysis, customer service, algorithm management, and more.
This Internship Program runs for 10-24 weeks. Candidates can also apply for both Off-cycle Intern position and Program Intern position.
Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. The application limit is applicable to TikTok and its affiliates' jobs globally. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the front-end technology development of various products, including web end, desktop end, mobile end, etc.;
2. Complete the design and development of user functions to ensure the compatibility of browsers or other end point devices;
3. Optimize front-end performance and enhance User Experience through technical means;
4. Design and develop common components, tools and class libraries to improve development quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Currently pursuing BS/MS/Phd degree
2. Graduating December 2024 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
3. Able to commit to working for at least 12 weeks during Summer 2024.
4. Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in Javascript, React Project.
2. Active on github (with more repos or influential repos)
3. Knowledge of testing, profiling, and debugging practices
4. Strong pairing skills
