Position Summary:
TikTok EMEA is seeking an experienced Finance BP who will be a key contributor to TikTok's continued success in Europe. This role is based out of our London office. The new hire will play an integral role in assisting with business decisions and will act as a strategic partner to key business functions such as the France/Benelux/Southern Europe Operation Leads, Publisher & Creator leads, Programs & Market insight leads, Brand Marketing, and Safety. The Finance BP will be joining a small hands-on team with great opportunities to grow and expand their role as the team grows.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning: Ability to provide strategic support and advice to senior finance managers and function heads. Proficiency in developing near-term and long-term budget plans. Skill in monitoring budget consumption over planning periods and conducting variance analyses. Capability to update budget/forecast periodically based on analysis.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Expertise in participating in monthly closing for management reporting. Skill in organizing business reviews and deriving insights from financial and operational data. Proficiency in conducting financial performance analysis for regional business. Ability to generate performance improvement proposals based on analysis.
- Process Optimization and Management: Capability to optimize practices, policies, programs, procedures, and personnel activities. Proficiency in identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to partner with other business units. Skill in providing insightful and quality financial advice to support business decision-making.
- Industry Analysis and Business Intelligence: Proficiency in conducting regular industry analysis. Ability to perform Business Intelligence research to gather relevant insights.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- 5 years of FP&A or equivalent work experience in Technology, Content, Publisher or Media company.
- Track record of experience with complex financial planning & analysis.
- Ability to work with large volumes of data and bring it to life in a simple, clear fashion.
- Experience with data analysis, financial modeling, and financial analysis.
- Strong communication skills, strong logical reasoning, and critical thinking.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent) or higher.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred but not essential.
- Prior experience in SQL, PowerBI is a plus.
- French language is preferred but not essential.
