Finance Business Partner - Global Functions

Responsibilities

Team Introduction:
Finance BP is a sub-department of Finance. It aims to improve management efficiency, reduce financial risks and strengthen budget control by providing business analysis and management reports. This role will support the rapidly growing and high profile Global Functional teams including Global Brand and Communications, Legal, and Public Policy.

- Finance POC providing day-to-day operational support for local business teams and cross-functional partners around the globe; strategic partner to the business and finance leadership
- Carry out the financial planning process for key functions: develop near and long-term budget plans at the project-level, monitor budget implementation, carry out month-end close responsibilities, and update the forecast periodically by working closely with business teams
- Responsible for optimising practices, policies, programs, and procedures; constantly improve finance processes by leading efforts to simplify and automate reporting wherever possible (e.g. "self-serve" dashboards for the business)
- Partner with business units and provide insightful and quality financial advice to support company's business decision-making; prepare management reporting and present variance analysis to senior leadership at a regular cadence
- Conduct adhoc projects/analyses, develop innovative reporting to track KPIs, and support industry analysis

Qualifications

Minimum qualification(s):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.)
- 5+ years of Corporate Finance/FP&A or equivalent work experience, preferably in a high-growth technology company
- Soft skills: great communication skills, self-motivated and a critical thinker; able to prioritize and pivot in a rapidly changing environment
- Hard skills: data analysis, financial modeling, and financial analysis; Advanced in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, G Suite, etc. Tableau and Power BI is a plus

Preferred Qualification(s):
- Relevant experience in a high-growth technology company
- MBA, or professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable
