About the Team
Strategy and Operations is a central team in Government Relations (GR) Europe in charge of creating and executing strategies around significant company milestones and challenges and managing operations for the whole of GR Europe.
Job Description
- Identify big challenges and opportunities for the company in the short, medium and long term
- Create strategies around them by identifying objectives, tactics and risks
- Execute campaigns for the internal and external coordination of resources to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities
- Create internal capacity with other teams to leverage their expertise and roles in a campaign and leadership buy-in
Qualifications
- General understanding of UK and EEA government policymaking and legislative processes
- Experience working on public policy positions for a technology company, government, NGO, trade association, or political party
- Strategic and big-picture thinking
- Excellent collaborator and project manager
- Ability to solve challenges at pace
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in Internet public policy issues, including privacy, security, child safety, harmful content, and user wellbeing
- Excellent communication skills
