Team Introduction
TikTok's IT security team is responsible for enterprise IT global cyber security, server security, endpoint security, application security construction, and protection work. They work to improve overall IT security capabilities and security posture, providing security processes, security assessments, security operations, and security vulnerability management services. The team also supports IT teams and business departments in meeting their security requirements.

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all enterprise security tools (e.g, firewalls, Email gateway, IDS/IPS, EDR, AV, CASB, and SWG)
- Conduct security architecture reviews and makes recommendations regarding configurations, policies, and align with industry security standards
- Perform routine audits and assessments of security tools to verify their compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new security tools and technologies, conducting proof-of-concept testing and providing recommendations to improve the overall security posture.
- Participate in new security tools implementation, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to security tools, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist develops and maintains security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and knowledge base articles
- Review security logs and reports to identify patterns or anomalies that may indicate a security breach.
- Respond to security incidents and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Work with teams across different time zones and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization to ensure that security policies and procedures are followed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate countermeasures.
- Flexible working hours, maybe shift schedule work on weekends or holidays

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT security operations with a focus on security tools administration and maintenance.
- 3 years of experience working in a security system administration such as IT Security Engineer or Cyber Security Engineer role.
- Proficient in performing routine maintenance tasks on security tools, such as updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Strong understanding of security tools, technologies, and industry best practices, including NGFW firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, vulnerability scanners, and related tools.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or STEM field
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to security tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a global team environment, effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Familiarity with network and system security concepts and technologies, Windows and Linux system security, APP security etc.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, GCIA) are a plus.
- Programming, threat hunting, and pentesting ability are preferred.
