Responsibilities
About the Team:
Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
Content that Content Moderator (Live) interacts with includes images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure legal compliance and safety of content uploaded to our platform.

2. Responsible for the development, improvement, and maintenance of standards for the security of our online
communities.
3. Improve the content management strategy for short video platforms.
4. Responsible for coordinating with supervising departments for timely management of content that violates our
policies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
2. You are a fast learner, good communicator and proficient in English and Japanese since the role will oversee Japan market.
3. Ability to work in shifts when required.
4. You pay attention to detail and have a passion for maintaining a high standard of work.
5. You have the resilience and persistence to handle routine daily tasks efficiently and accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Familiarity with internet laws and regulations, in particular reviewing online content, would be a good plus.
2. Experience in a BPO / call center/customer service environment is a plus.
3. Possess cultural sensitivity and understanding relating to global/ regional current affairs.
