About Trust & Safety
Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for editing trailers, TV campaigns, and sports game campaigns, editing world-class short video content publications that adhere to the latest trends in social media. Additionally, packaging video posts with attractive descriptions, covers, and proper hashtags to maximize public views.
- Work with the product operation team to understand their vision and objectives for each video project.
- Perform video editing skills, and create short videos that meet publication standards.
- Perform proofreading and quality assurance for new short video posts, monitor published short videos status, ensure short video publish success.
- Manage official TikTok video account status, ensure account branding, and perform data analysis.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education
- At least 1 year experience with social media video content creation, or experience in film/TV promotion agencies
- Experience with video editing or creation, audio editing, voice-overs
- Possesses portfolio, previous work samples, or video-based social media(TikTok, Youtube) account showcasing creativity and storytelling ability
- Proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Passionate about media entertainment and internet trends
- Ability to create and execute innovative ideas under tight timelines, ability to independently complete video content editing and post-packaging design
- Skilled in video editing tools, such as Capcut, Adobe Premier, and Canva. Photo Editing tool is a plus
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, ability to organize and communicate thoughts and decisions with stakeholders
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and demanding timelines, perform great time management skills
