Responsibilities
The legal team is growing together with our company and is committed to provide top-end in-house legal services to our internal clients. We are looking for a competent candidate to join us as Commercial Legal Counsel to support commercial, monetization and advertising matters relating to TikTok and several other emerging products. This role will be based in Singapore.
- Work with legal teams and product teams globally to advise on monetization products
- Provide business stakeholders with legal and compliance advice across a wide range of subject areas, including advertising, privacy, intellectual property, platform/publisher liability, product liability, contract and consumer protection laws;
- Draft and advise on product features and platform terms of use, privacy policies and guidelines;

- Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements with advertisers, agencies, creators, service providers and ad tech companies;
- Provide legal advice to business teams on marketing campaigns and initiatives;
- Assist with updating contract models and templates as necessary; and
- Instruct and liaise with external counsels as necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 PQE with experience in an in-house legal department or in a reputable law firm;
- Expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts;
- Enjoys being challenged, is adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic corporate environment;
- Admitted to practice in Singapore or any commonwealth jurisdiction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and presentation skills, with business fluency in Mandarin, as the role is required to read and draft documents in Mandarin and work significantly with teams based in China;
