The Global Monetization Strategy & Operations (MSO) organization plays a critical role in driving TikTok's advertising business forward. We partner with senior leaders to define revenue strategies, translate our internal KPIs into client outcomes, and evangelize our product suite to maximize growth. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the strategic advisor and subject matter expert for the Commercial Deal Desk, aligning cross-functional stakeholders across sales, finance, legal, product, and marketing.
- Design and enforce scalable go-to-market and deal grid policies governing billions in revenue to ensure fiscal discipline and commercial consistency.
- Lead complex negotiations, shaping pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and empowerment frameworks to accelerate deal velocity and growth.
- Partner with business and data teams to develop monetization strategies, translate insights into growth initiatives, and optimize operational performance.
- Manage the full deal lifecycle - from structure design to policy governance, tracking, and exception management - ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Anticipate market dynamics and client needs by creating flexible deal frameworks that balance risk, value, and scalability.
- Oversee inventory yield management, pricing, and packaging strategies to maximize product integration and upsell opportunities.
- Champion innovation and readiness by driving automation, platform enhancements, and best practice adoption to elevate global deal-making performance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial strategy, revenue operations, or deal desk management within a large, matrixed technology or media organization.
- Proven ability to design, negotiate, and manage large-scale commercial agreements that align internal KPIs with client growth objectives.
- Deep understanding of monetization models, pricing frameworks, and policy governance within enterprise or media sales environments.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with sales, finance, legal, product, and marketing teams to drive revenue acceleration and operational alignment.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in forecasting, budget tracking, and performance reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading or building deal desk functions within high-growth organizations, establishing scalable commercial frameworks and enforcement policies.
- Strong command of digital advertising ecosystems, including familiarity with media value creation, discounting strategies, and inventory yield management.
- Ability to anticipate and mitigate commercial risk through flexible deal design and proactive policy execution.
- Demonstrated success in leveraging automation, CRM systems, or AI-driven tools to streamline deal workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive influence skills with the ability to drive consensus among senior stakeholders.

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $123023 - $232223 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
