Team Intro
The Compliance Operation Business Partner of TikTok Commerce will drive the compliance review, build compliance business strategy and roadmap, support cross-functional teams to establish compliance solutions and assist management to fully understand risk level and make decisions on actionable mitigation plans.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for a deep understanding of the regulatory requirements from the targeted countries, legislative changes, etc., and be capable of doing proactive analyses on commerce platform compliance systematically;
- Exercise independent judgment and provide risk-based solutions to business teams;
- Responsible for building compliance product strategy and roadmap for TikTok Commerce;

- Collaborate with legal, public policy, and safety teams to evaluate compliance strategy and impacts on products and processes;
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders from business teams and other teams, to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks, to implement risk and compliance solutions, and to respond to user escalations;
- Lead compliance-related project management throughout product lifecycle, managing cross-functional efforts including business development, product design, engineering and go-to-market;
- Lead internal communications about compliance strategy, ensure implementation and resolving blocking issues;
- Be familiar with the regulation and governance of commerce platforms, train business departments on key compliance issues, promote commerce eco-development, and improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or higher, with 5+ years of working experience related to e-commerce, product, consulting/advisory, and/or data security and privacy compliance, product management or product counseling experience is preferred;
- Understanding and experience in compliance, public policy, law and regulation is a plus;
- Able to make risk-based decisions and drive alignment among diverse teams;
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills, particularly implemented in a cross-functional and global role and experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels;
- Strong logical thinking and analytical skill
- Familiarity with e-commerce and/or privacy related compliance issues, business analytics, and making data-driven decisions;
- Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese is a must in order to communicate with stakeholders who speak Spanish and Portuguese globally
