Business Operations & Portfolio Performance Program Manager - Trust & Safety
Responsibilities
About the team
The Business Operations and Portfolio Performance team is responsible for managing global initiatives within the global Trust & Safety (T&S) Operations pillar and across our BPO partner landscape. This is done through:
- Managing cross-functional projects, quarterly program reviews, and change management.
- Developing and implementing BPO sourcing strategies through market research, partner outreach and structured partner selection processes.
- Driving the global partner strategy for content moderation, with a focus on portfolio-level performance.
What will I be doing?
As a Program Manager in our Business Operations & Porfolio Performance team, your primary responsibility will be to manage strategic cross-functional programs within Trust & Safety Operations. You will drive projects forward, implement process and program changes, and define new ways of working. You will be coordinating between Trust & Safety Operations leadership, Operations stakeholders, and cross functional teams across Bytedance to influence and achieve outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead internal program reviews, including business and quarterly review sessions, and leadership alignment sessions.
- Lead global projects and programs within Trust and Safety Operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive implementation.
- Conduct data analysis and translate data insights into business recommendations.
- Prepare high quality business reports and deliver presentations tailored to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements to improve the business management of T&S Operations, such as automating dashboards and developing new tools.
- Influence and drive alignment across lines of business teams to execute our roadmap, fostering a collaborative approach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Trust & Safety Operations teams to gain a strong business understanding.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Humanities, Economics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years experience in program and/or project management, preferably for large-scale operations.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, and an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Experience managing large-scale, complex projects including change management execution.
- Ability to work independently and exercise maturity in handling sensitive information.
- Excellent skills in spoken and written communication across both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and able to influence without authority.
