About The Team
The Publisher team's purpose is to create a step-change in the supply and quality of OGC content in the short term, and leverage authorised IP to stimulate PGC and UGC in the medium-term, via development of solutions to support specific publisher needs.
About The Role
This role reports into the Head of Business Development within the Partnerships pillar of the Publisher org. The BD team's core focus is to support a Global Content Partnership Pipeline of all content acquisition deals that run centrally, regionally, and locally across the NAL.
Responsibility
- Improve and standardise content acquisition from publishers
- Streamline scaled BD resources for local teams to uplevel overall dealmaking

- Acquire and manage a small amount of globally relevant tentpoles
- Develop the end-to-end narrative for publishers, including mediamatch, monetisation adoption, creation tools etc.
- Develop global content partnerships pipeline (by vertical) - progress, unblock and improve ROI systematically
- Deal acquisition and management (tentpoles)
- Deal acquisition and management (IP partnerships)
- Scaled support for local business development excellence
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor or Above
- Strong communication skills
- Gravitas to engage C-suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Business Development experience, negotiating partnership agreements/contracts
- Experience of managing successful business relationships
- Digital understanding - examples of having worked with or for social/digital platforms across BD/commercial projects
- Proof of strategic thinking across project successes - how the goals of the project identified and how was success measured
- Ability to demonstrate XFN success in previous projects, uniting/co-ordinating multiple teams under a common project
