The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time.
Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.

2. Dashboard and Report Creation: Generate insightful reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
3. Project Support: Assist in project planning, tracking, and stakeholder management.
4. Quality Assurance: Validate data accuracy and integrity, perform quality checks on analysis outputs, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards in data analysis and reporting.
5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of analysis methodologies, findings, and outcomes for future reference, and actively participate in knowledge sharing activities to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
6. Process Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through data analysis and stakeholder feedback, and contribute to the implementation of improvement initiatives.
7. Data Transformation: Perform data manipulation and processing to ensure data sets are accurate and ready for analysis.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. JP proficient and ENG business level: enough to communicate smoothly with external + internal stakeholders
2. Analytical Skills: Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data from various sources to derive actionable insights and recommendations.
3. Problem-Solving Abilities: Identify business problems, propose solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective strategies.
4. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
5. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, enabling efficient and effective analysis of large datasets.
6. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in data analysis, documentation, and reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Previous Internship Experience: Prior experience as a business analyst intern or in a related analytical role within the tech industry
2. Quantitative Background: Strong academic background in quantitative fields such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or computer science, providing a solid foundation for data analysis and interpretation.
3. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
