From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have tailored tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small.
The Brand Partnerships Team Lead role is directly responsible for building relationships and helping clients drive business results on TikTok through consultation, education, and support. Ideal candidates will combine an exceptional ability to lead and grow a team of sales professionals, acts as a consultative sales player/coach, and deliver against sales quota. You should have a passion for growing our business exponentially, an outstanding ability to set the strategic vision, and a willingness to develop and execute scaled processes. Success in this position requires strong sales and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. This position is full-time and located in our Austin, TX office. We love the in-person connection, so we currently offer a hybrid working policy of 4 days in the office.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Growth leadership to establish a sales strategy and execution plan to achieve team goals.
- Partner with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop, identify, and implement effective client advertising strategies.
- Leverage data to identify consumer trends - spot wins, opportunities, and optimizations.
- Become an expert in the assigned segments - collect and analyze competitive intelligence and market factors to anticipate client opportunities.
- Consult clients on TikTok product offerings and demonstrate a deep understanding of product capabilities, measurement, attribution, and KPIs.
- Develop and coach Brand Partnership Managers in setting long and short-term goals, milestones, and tracking performance towards revenue objectives.
- Guide Brand Partnership Managers on consultative, client-centric selling and best-in-class presentations, coach and develop for career growth.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in digital advertising (sales preferred, but not required)
- Proven people management experience, with the ability to coach and developing performing teams
- Knowledge of the self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying
- Experience building and developing C-level relationships and strategic partnership plans
- Strong analytical and consultative selling skills to help identify and measure customer objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Significant business unit, product, or revenue responsibility in ad-tech, media, or branded firms
- Direct experience building scalable, repeatable processes to accelerate deal velocity
- Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing.
- Analytical. Experience translating data into compelling insights
- Experience determining and comparing the effectiveness of media plans in relation to business objectives.
- Media measurement comprehension across all channels including digital, TV, and OOH.
