About The Team:
TikTok continues to unlock opportunities for artists and labels, with a brilliantly engaged community who love to build connections with artists and their music. The team is working globally and locally with artists, managers and labels to unleash the promotional and marketing power of TikTok, helping talents to secure success on the platform, music streamings, hit charts and brand collaborations.

Responsibilities / 業務内容
1. Develop relationships with artists, labels and agencies to accelerate deeper engagements on TikTok.
2. Understand the user needs and potential of Japanese music in the domestic and international markets, create strategies to foster fandom community.
3. Build a diverse music content ecosystem on the platform with a data-driven approach collaborating with Strategy, Programming and Product teams.
4. Work with global teams to secure international success.
5. Deliver A&R approaches that are equally data driven and creative.
6. Work with the creative community, cultivating a strong network of artists, labels, songwriters, producers, managers and studios. Serve as liaison between music community and algo-driven products.
7. Responsible for ROI of artist collaboration events, projects, and A&R.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications / 応募条件
1. This role will be JP-based
2. JP fluent / ENG proficient
3. Bachelor's degree or above
4. Minimum 5 years of work experience of music industry experience.
5. Thorough understanding of the music landscape of Japan and impacts on the local and global markets.
6. Understanding TikTok content ecosystem and musical trends, movements, and styles.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Result-driven and product-driven mind set, with the ability to plan, document and deliver on tight deadlines.
2. Having a finely tuned and constantly evolving understanding of current music taste in the industry and proper knowledge of music copyrights.
3. Outstanding negotiation and communication skills with the ability to form close partnerships with labels and agencies.
