Team Intro
The UG Emerging Market Team aims to provide better user experience for low-end device users from emerging markets by using TikTok Lite. We focus on optimizing the app package size, upgrading performance, solving the problem of expensive and insufficient mobile data. As a result, users will find themselves with a better user experience in watching, sharing, and downloading compared to TikTok.
The Mobile Engineer will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Participated in the R&D of the product's Android version, creating localized product experiences tailored to the characteristics of emerging markets.
- Collaborated closely with product design, actively engaging in crucial discussions involving requirement reviews, feature definition, experimental analysis, and experience optimization.
- Delivered high-quality architecture design and coding, tackling key technical challenges and difficult issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with more than two years of Android development experience.
- Experience in Java or Kotlin, with good architecture design skills, and familiar with mainstream frameworks and development patterns for app development.
- Strong sense of responsibility towards software products, with good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Have good team communication and collaboration skills.
