Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
Some content viewed may violate our community guidelines, which include but are not limited to bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.
Our Search Operations team supports our efforts to address objectionable or disturbing content which could include (but are not limited to) images of violence, animal cruelty, hate speech, violent extremism, or content that exploits or endangers children. The team plays a vital role in analyzing user searches and search strategy optimization to ensure a positive and safe user experience for our community.
Responsibilities:
What will I be doing?
- Quality inspection of evaluated data and daily tasks of specialists.
- Localise the policies, be responsible for policy training, and align the policy updates.
- Conduct calibration meetings with the team in the appeal process: analyse different cases, record and evaluate their performance, offer solutions and suggestions for the current problem to help the team improve the accuracy rate and alignment.
- Work closely with R&D(Research and Development) and PM(Product Manager) in order to provide feedback on data quality.
- Willing to work with sensitive issues that include child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, adult & sexual content.
- Other Ad-hoc and relevant projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above, 1-2 years of experience
2. Majoring in journalism, literature, mathematics, computers, medicine, law, and economics are preferred.
3. Fluency in Spanish and strong English is necessary to communicate with the team.
4. Familiar with QA and data delivery process.
5. Overseas working/training is a plus
6. Knowledge about AI or related models, familiar with social media platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
1. An in-depth understanding of culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of users
2. Strong ability to learn and understand
3. Familiar with common office software, evaluating experience is preferred
