About the Team:
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (advertising) team plays a crucial role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving effective ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed worldwide, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real-time. The US Agency team works with some of the largest Ad Agencies across all categories. They are responsible for enabling advertising on the platform and connecting users with brands.
About the Role:
The Agency Sales Team Lead is responsible for developing strategy and driving revenue for a team of individual contributors. They will report to the General Manager, US Agency, and serve as the advocate for their agencies both internally and externally. They will grow and develop Agency Partnerships Managers to become strategic advisors to their clients. Success in this role requires a focus on people management, project and relationship management, client education, campaign measurement, and the ability to tell a strong story that shows TikTok's ability to drive client objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Craft overall strategy to deliver on revenue targets and steer the team to increased growth potential
- Prioritize sales narratives based on the needs of the agencies
- Deep understanding of product to drive enhancements to unlock revenue
- Bring a consultative approach that will align with a customer-first methodology
- Provide thought leadership and mentorship to your team on overall account planning
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of key vertical market trends and customer opportunities
- Develop, mentor, and manage a team of individual contributors
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of direct experience in digital advertising, ad sales, or brand marketing
- Strong people management experience for both direct reports and XFN teams
- Experience managing advertisers throughout the funnel with a deep understanding of their challenges and objectives working with agency sales cycle
- Experience building relationships with top marketing decision-makers at brands and agencies
- Demonstrated ability to proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, utilizing appropriate escalation protocols when necessary
- Experience managing individual contributors of varying experience
- Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience diagnosing and solving technical problems with product and engineering teams
- Ability to effectively translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with ad verification partners (IAS, DV, MOAT)
- Willing to travel as needed
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $146700 - $256500 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
