Thurgood Marshall College Fund Talent Pool

This posting is intended as a talent pool for the 2022  Thurgood Marshall College Fund students.

The 10-week summer internship program is designed to challenge students by providing opportunities to provide hand-on experiences, skills training and valuable professional networking to assist students with identifying and building on their career interests. This role gains experience and an overall feel for the company and the financial services industry by attending meetings, delivering presentations, exploring business-specific tasks, and working closely with cross-functional groups to better understand the TIAA, TIAA Bank and Nuveen’s businesses. 

The program includes a robust training and onboarding program followed by our ongoing speaker series, lunch-and-learns, and cohort engagement activities, as well as direct access to executive and senior leadership, mentors and previous interns.

Eligible interns may receive a full-time offer to join our Early Talent Rotational Program or various open positions within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

You will have the opportunity to work in exciting business areas including but not limited to:

·      Technology

·      Asset Management

·      Financial Analysis/Accounting

·      Audit, Risk and Compliance

·      Human Resources

·      Advice and Client Relationships

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•      Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree

•      Graduation date between Winter 2022 and Spring 2024

Please note that in order to be eligible for our internships you must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program with a graduation timeline between December 2022-May 2024.

Potential Salary: $20.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
