Senior Engineer
The Information Systems Engineer designs information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Under limited supervision, this job is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's operating systems.


Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Engineer software systems to align with architectural principals to meet our customer needs in high velocity environment.
  • You will help us design and develop re-usable APIs, Microservies and Microfrontend  that focus on customer experience needs and optimize quality and deployment practices.
  • You will have the opportunity to share/grow your technical knowledge to help strengthen our engineering community and further pursue your own learning of new technologies and platforms.
  • You will be part of team and in your role you will lead / influence team through the project software development.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming with Java Full stack development experience.
  • 3+ years of Systems Engineering/Architecture including experience in a large, distributed environment.
  • 2+ years of experience with architecting and developing in Cloud Services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with REST API, GraphQL Design & Development
  • Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services.
  • Experience in  Python, Nodejs, jQuery, React
  • Experience in AWS for distributed development
  • Understanding of Domain Driven Design fundamentals
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM)
  • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills for technical and business audience
  • A degree in Computer Science, CIS or IT.

Potential Salary: $113,000.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
