The Multi-Asset Product Manager will work with the Head of Multi-Asset Product in the development of Nuveen’s model portfolio and multi-asset product initiatives. The role will also support initiatives related to Nuveen’s separately managed account (SMA) platform. In this role, the Product Manager will need to work cross functionally with partners in investments, distribution, marketing, operations, legal and compliance. The ideal candidate must excel at a wide range of tasks associated with recently launched businesses including but not limited to project management, data analysis, presentation preparation, document review and distribution support. The individual must be a self-starter and able to concurrently work on multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Work with the Head of Multi-Asset Product to design, develop and maintain product market readiness for Nuveen multi-asset products.

• Lead and assist with platform development projects including the evolution of our suite of model portfolios and SMA capabilities.

• Work with Investment, Marketing and Operations teams to coordinate implementation and dissemination of model portfolio allocation updates.

• Conduct competitive analysis, including reviews of competitor advice delivery, model portfolio and product structure.

• Partner with multi-asset CPMs to design and execute business development strategies and also to assist in RFP/RFI preparation.

• Aggregate, monitor and report on measures of initiative success.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ product management experience in the investment management industry

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the investment management industry: specifically in multi-asset and/or SMA product management

• Bachelor’s degree

• Series 7 & Series 63 (can be obtained within 90 days of hire)

• Strong understanding of investment products including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and exchange traded funds

• Experience with multi-asset products and model portfolios

• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

• Persuasive oral, written, and presentation communications skills - and ability to simply and effectively describe complex ideas to different audiences

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and timelines

• A genuine team player that believes in the power of collaborative work and builds relationships with co-workers in a collegial and respectful manner

Potential Salary: $116,300.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
