Senior Systems Analyst
The Senior System Analyst job works in the technical design, development, and implementation of application systems. While working independently with limited supervision, this job delivers new design and development specifications based on customer requirements, while adhering to standard procedures and techniques.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Implements detailed business, functional and technical requirements and specifications for applications.

  • Develops applications and configures commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using programming, scripting, and database languages.

  • Manages application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements.

    Position Summary:  Describe below the primary purpose and function of this job

    The Associate is responsible for assisting in the Support group of M365  technologies as required to support business process automation build solutions within M365 environment.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities:  List up to 5 key duties and responsibilities, management responsibilities and time spent (if applicable)

    • Coordinate, monitor, and support various Microsoft 365 systems and their related policies. Systems include Exchange (hybrid), SharePoint (hybrid), Teams, and One Drive.
    • Support the deployment of our Microsoft 365 strategy
    • Support the ongoing operation and expansion of Microsoft Teams and other related services
    • Provide Tier 3 support for Microsoft 365 services
    • Maintain interoperability between Microsoft 365 and on-premise systems in hybrid environments
    • Maintain familiarity with various Microsoft 365 tools and train end-users on the systems
    • Work cross-functionally with internal partners to maximize Microsoft 365 functionality and user experience
    • Maintain security and reliability of Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 systems and services
    • Work with Azure AD & on-Prem Active Directory systems
    • Support our Microsoft 365 security and compliance management, specifically anti-phishing/anti-malware/anti-spam policies/config/troubleshooting/email tracing
    • Microsoft 365 Exchange Online administration/configuration/troubleshooting (domains, policies, transport rules, etc.)
    • Microsoft 365 Licensing administration
    • Build guardrails to follow governance at the organisation level.
    • In depth Microsoft 365 configuration and administration for MS Teams/OneDrive/SharePoint
    • Develop future strategies for Microsoft 365 products and services
    • PowerShell scripting experience
    • Relevant certifications is an added advantage

    Functional Knowledge:  What knowledge of concepts, process, principles or procedures is needed within discipline; SME?

    • Key Skills Required:
      • M365 / SharePoint Online/2019/2013 - Minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience
      • M365 environment building with monitoring 2 years of relevant experience
      • M365 variety of licensing  - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
      • SharePoint Online/Onprem architecture understanding - Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience
      • SharePoint Client Side Object Model (CSOM)
      • PowerShell Scripting

    • Good to have Skills:
      • Microsoft Azure DevOps
      • Agile methodologies using JIRA
