IT Data Analytics and Performance Management Manager

Summary

The Data Analytics and Performance Management job supervises professional level employees, sets goals for the larger Global Infrastructure Services organization, monitors the methods used to achieve those goals, and then creates ways for team members to more effectively achieve those goals. To accomplish these goals, the leader manages a team that is responsible for supporting the establishment of new business processes, adjusting or changing existing business processes and integrates the application of such processes into the organization. The Data Analytics and Performance Management job oversees the operations of improvement projects from initial research and assessment stages through the transition and implementation phases. Working under limited supervision, this job collaborates with functional teams across the organization to identify and execute improvement strategies that best enhance operations. This job also analyzes metrics to measure the impact of process enhancements after they are implemented by the organization.

This job owns short to mid-term (1-3 years) execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of business management process integrations and directs the strategy, design and implementation of key function, applications and capabilities across the Global Infrastructure Services team and its partners.

Foundational to the execution and achievement of the goals, this job manages the development, implementation and support of business analytics initiatives and projects that extract key insights from relevant data sets to provide market insights and recommendations to management. As a team manager, this job sets goals and objectives for team members and ensures policies and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports. This job's goal is to improve performance of the organization's personnel. This job utilizes general knowledge of the project/business requirements to manage large projects for the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manages process improvement and continuous improvement analyses to identify potential upgrades that would be ideal for business unit goals.
  • Advises functional teams across the organization to determine needs for business improvements and to strategize possible business solutions.
  • Provides expertise on potential process enhancements that would improve operating efficiencies and cost effectiveness within the organization based on data and statistical methods.
  • Liaises with all levels of the organization to ensure that the transition to new programs and implemented solutions is smooth and effective.
  • Identifies, sizes and prioritizes business opportunities for improvement through analytics and presents metrics to management that demonstrate the impact implemented changes have had on the organization.
  • Manages large projects and processes in the continuous improvement space, along with coaching and mentoring lower level professionals.
  • Maintains and supports implementation of policies and procedures in support of the business area strategy.
  • Analyzes and reports on area data (financial, headcount, etc.) and performance metrics to recommend improved processes that are designed to save on operating costs and generate more revenue.
  • Influences the development of new strategic initiatives through tracking budgets and milestones.
  • Ensures strategic business management consulting policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports.
  • Supervises the creation and distribution of analytical reports based on findings through analysis and modeling efforts.
  • Oversees the analysis of external market dynamics and other data sources to assess trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis.
  • Uses data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision-making.
  • Develops actionable insights and recommendations for management through understanding of the business model and information available from research.
  • Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of the team.

Potential Salary: $186,600.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
