Info Sec Incident Response Specialist
The Info Security job supports the development, communication, implementation, enforcement and monitoring of security controls to protect the organization's technology assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction. Under close supervision, this job is responsible for monitoring computer security procedures and documents and maintaining IT security policies, procedures and testing results.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assists in the design, testing and implementation processes of secure operating systems, networks and databases for the organization.

  • Performs basic risk assessments and executes tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures.

  • Documents plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs.

  • Documents computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests.

  • Monitors use of data files and regulates access to safeguard information in computer files.

  • Monitors current reports of computer viruses to determine when to update virus protection systems.

  • Reviews violations of computer security procedures and alerts managers of issues that arise.

    Responsibilities (List principle tasks, duties and responsibilities of the job):
     

    • Operations team members will be in contact with application teams on a regular basis. Team members are expected to communicate processes and answer questions clearly.
    • Collecting and interpreting data
    • Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
    • Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
    • Defining new data collection and analysis processes
    • Identify underlying issues resulting in missed SLAs and/or compliance issues and proposing solutions
    • Collaborate with supporting technology teams to define, test, and implement new security solutions
    • Performing account analysis on platforms and applications
    • Troubleshoot access & automation related incidents
    • Assist with centralization of new applications to be managed by the Access Management Services
    • Ensure compliance with various IT security policies
    • Interact with multiple audit team and inquires

    Required Skills (Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities to enter the job):
     

    • 2 -4 years of relevant work experience
    • Some college training or experience in an identity and access management role
    • Knowledge in designing access models to secure a platform or application
    • Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative IT environment
    • Strong documentation and problem solving skills
    • Highly self-motivated, directed, and can work independently without supervision in a high-pressure environment

    Desired Skills (Preferred not required):
     

    • Four year degree preferred
    • Knowledge of implementing a privileged access model for a platform or application
    • Experience with ServiceNow, SailPoint, Varonis, Tableau, PowerShell and other scripting languages
    • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, such as Amazon Web Services or Azure
