The Business Management job is responsible for providing strategic support for the assigned business area. While focusing on high level projects, this job executes strategic business management consulting to leaders by analyzing metrics and presentations to support business strategies, driving business management policies and routines, and being the central point of contact for leaders in the execution of business management tasks. This job is considered a subject matter expert in the Business Management area.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Acts as a day-to-day technical/functional expert in assigned area and makes decisions on tactical issues that impact the business.

  • Maintains and supports implementation of policies and procedures in support of the business area strategy.

  • Implements process improvements.

  • Analyzes and reports on area data (financial, headcount, etc.) and performance metrics.

  • Supports business management projects by monitoring and tracking risks, issues and action items.

  • Drives and oversees meeting planning in support of business projects and objectives.

  • Influences the development of new strategic initiatives through tracking budgets and milestones.

    Additional Responsibilities

    Required:

    • 5 + years of project management experience within financial services

    Preferred:

    • 7 + years of project management experience within financial services
    • University Degree
    • Experience leading and implementing projects
    • Experience implementing process improvement
    • Experience with analyzing and reporting performance metrics
    • Experience partnering with other business owners and senior leaders across the various organizations to ensure deliverables, data, reports, and special requests are met appropriately and timely
    • Experience in building and executing project plans and managing a portfolio of projects
    • Organized and able to handle multiple projects and responsibilities in a timely fashion
    • Experience with PowerPoint in assembling & delivering presentations to mid to large size audiences
    • Experience supporting end-to-end change and readiness initiatives within the business
    • Excel in performing intermediate level analysis, and Word
    • Support end-to-end change and readiness initiatives within the business
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to be flexible, adaptable, proactive, and extremely organized
    • Strong communication skills
    • Able to develop a rapport of trust and accountability to drive multi-group efforts forward
    • Diplomatic and able to communicate & influence diverse groups to support overall business objectives
    • Lead cross team projects and influencing the final outcome
    • Independent thinker with an ability to strategize and deliver diverse, creative solutions

    Potential Salary: $135,000.00 USD

    Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
