Assoc Financial Consultant
The Associate Financial Consultant is a position that resolves deals related to products and services for internal and external clients; ensures compliance with current laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Introduces products and services to clients.
  • Builds relationships with internal and external customers through the utilization of appropriate tools or technologies.
  • Reviews day-to-day execution of deals to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Monitors business performance and market conditions when implementing new services.

Qualifications

  • 2 Years Required; 3 Years Preferred

  • University (Degree), Preferred

FINRA Registrations

  • SRC Indicator: Series 7; Series 63

Physical Requirements

  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of customer service or financial services sales experience
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 Registered Representative and State Insurance Licensing within 120 days.  Candidates with Series 7 and 63 strongly preferred at time of application
  • Travel required.  Valid U.S. Driver's License required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of customer service or financial services sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Professional designation strongly desired:  CFP, CLU, ChFC, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of financial planning concepts; including a broad knowledge of TIAA products
  • Must be highly organized and capable of proficiently handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and sales skills, including experience presenting to large audiences
  • Agility in determining and managing priorities
  • Key traits: integrity, understanding, team player, results-driven, personal excellence, embodies an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit

Potential Salary: $35.02 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
