We are building a new Site Reliability Engineering team at Mexico City as part of our Configuration Management group within Legal Technology Infrastructure and Operations. This team will support application infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD tooling across multiple Thomson Reuters products. Key technologies include AWS cloud services, GitHub/GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Services, monitoring tools, and more.

  • System Reliability and Performance:

Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure.

Monitor and maintain system performance and reliability through proactive measures and incident response.

  • Automation and CI/CD:

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and Azure DevOps.

Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

  • Collaboration:

Partner with application development teams to align on priorities and deliverables.

Collaborate with security, compliance, and governance teams to meet standards and certifications.

  • Incident Management:

Respond to and resolve incidents to minimize downtime and impact on users.

Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements.

  • Documentation:

Document system architecture, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and scalability.

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudFront, CloudWatch)
  • CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana/Splunk/New Relic
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Source Control and Collaboration: Github, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket
  • Scripting and Automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell
  • Logging and Observability: DataDog, CloudWatch

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Datadog).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Expertise in designing and implementing fault-tolerant, scalable systems.
