You will also be exposed to the ONESOURCE platform and all services provided across our Corporates business.

About Role:

In this opportunity as Senior Implementation Consultant your role is:

  • The Senior Implementation Consultant is responsible for configuration, testing and support of Oracle ERP Integration with ONESOURCE, preferably with working experience in Oracle AP, AR, GL, EBTax and/or Fusion Tax.
  • The consultant is expected to perform as an individual contributor in addition to team-led implementations.
  • Gather business, process and integration requirements between OneSource Indirect Tax Determination and Oracle
  • Work with clients to translate their policy into our solutions.
  • Lead requirements and analysis workshops with clients to define business, process, functional and data mapping requirements
  • Perform Oracle EBTax and/or Fusion Tax related configurations to integrate EBS/Fusion ERP Cloud with OneSource Determination
  • Configure OneSource Indirect Tax Determination for integration with Oracle
  • Prepare and execute test scripts and test cases
  • Ability to maintain an Oracle system and take care of simple maintenance tasks like User maintenance, Authorizations.
  • Write Technical design document before development begins
  • Engage with other key teams such as Product Management & Engineering within Thomson Reuters as appropriate to deliver end to end solution to the customer.
  • Provide training of end users and customer development staff in the functionality of products.
  • Provide go-live support (e.g. customer inquiries, requests for ad hoc reporting assistance, miscellaneous research, advice on analytic methods)
  • Complete tasks independently.

About You:

You will fit as Senior Implementation Consultant if you have

  • Required Skills (Must Haves):
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
  • Must have experience in consulting or supporting clients in the US, APAC or Europe - either over conference calls or in-person
  • Must be able to demonstrate analytical/critical thinking
  • Must have 4+ years of experience of supporting or implementing Oracle EBS / Fusion Tax module of AP, AR, GL.
  • Must have working experience of Oracle EBTax and/or Fusion Tax.
  • Must have solid understanding of O2C (order to cash) and/or P2P (procure to pay) business processes in Oracle
  • Must be skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Must have experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts for Oracle implementations
  • Experience working with clients to determine transaction tax requirements (VAT), particularly with enterprise financial solutions is highly desired.
  • Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. ONESOURCE, Sovos, Avalara and/or Vertex) is highly desired
  • Custom report development using Oracle BI Publisher framework
  • Desired Skills (Nice to have but not mandatory):
  • SQL experience would be a plus.
  • Experience in developing enterprise-class solutions using tech such as Java / .NET would be a plus
  • CI/CD on cloud (preferably AWS or OCI) would be a plus
  • Data modelling and ER concepts for extension design and development
