About the Role

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of our large and strategic accounting firm accounts, focusing on high growth opportunity relationships and comprehensive success strategies
  • Strategic AI Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor for accounting firms' AI investments, educating clients on CoCounsel capabilities, new features, and transformation opportunities while aligning AI adoption with firm business objectives
  • Executive Relationship Leadership: Build and maintain C-suite relationships at accounting firms, confidently leading strategic conversations about AI transformation initiatives and serving as the primary strategic contact
  • AI-Powered Use Case Development: Leverage daily AI experience to identify, design, and communicate specific use cases that transform firm business processes into practical AI applications for audit, tax, and advisory services
  • Continued Success & Adoption Leadership: Drive ongoing AI solution adoption across global accounting practices, ensuring sustained usage and value realization within existing workflows through proactive monitoring of adoption metrics
  • Strategic Business Reviews: Conduct regular business reviews to share insights, track KPIs, drive strategic conversations, and create tailored success plans that align with firm business goals
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales teams to identify expansion opportunities, ensuring seamless processes for cross-department adoption, retention, and growth while addressing risks and opportunities

About You

You are a fit for the role of Senior AI Customer Success Manager if you have:

  • Accounting Process Expertise: Minimum 5+ years in public accounting (audit or tax preferred), corporate accounting, or finance with deep understanding of accounting workflows, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
  • AI Curiosity & Enhancement Vision: Demonstrated passion for using AI to enhance accounting processes, with daily AI tool usage and ability to envision AI applications for workflow optimization
  • Executive Communication: Proven ability to lead strategic conversations with C-suite executives at accounting firms, with confidence presenting to senior leadership
  • Business Process Translation: Expertise in analyzing complex accounting and tax workflows and translating them into specific, actionable AI use case recommendations
  • Technology Proficiency: Extensive experience with SaaS platforms, AI/ML solutions, and enterprise software implementations
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional presentation and communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong data analysis capabilities with experience in metrics-driven success management
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations.
Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $165,340 - $307,060.
This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
