AI Video Producer - Reuters
This position is based in Barcelona, Spain.

Reuters is looking for a video news journalist with a focus on Artificial Intelligence to join the team in our global video hub in Barcelona. As AI Video Producer, you will work alongside our Global Production Editor to test and develop AI tools to integrate into our workflows.
We're looking for a collaborative video producer that's excited by international news and artificial intelligence's capabilities, with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Previous experience of working as a video producer is essential.

This is a full-time role working on a five-day week that may involve some weekend work.
About the Role
As AI Video Producer at Reuters, you will:
- Work as part of a team developing prompts, testing new workflows and pitching ideas to evolve our use of AI.
- Use your deep understanding of scripting processes and pressures of writing to a deadline - as well as your video editing skills - to deliver content at speed to Reuters' international audience.
- Use your knowledge and interest in AI to establish how it can be used to build in efficiencies to our processes and improve speed on the video desk.
- Uphold Reuters Trust Principles of independence, integrity and freedom from bias.
About You
You're a fit for the role of AI Video Producer at Reuters if you have:
- At least 18 months experience in professional journalism in a broadcast or agency environment.
- Excellent news judgment and a passion for breaking news.
- Strong video editing and script writing skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Have a clear understanding of the news video needs of major broadcasters and digital clients.
- Ability to drive speed and accuracy
- A track record of being an organized team player.
- Fluent English - written and oral.
