What you'll do

  • Identify, influence and build a network with key decision makers (e.g. media managers, brand managers, marketing managers, procurement) at major brands in DACH
  • Build a sustainable sales pipeline with brands in the DACH market
  • Communicate the value of our media buying platform and convince brands to work with The Trade Desk
  • Understand Global Brand business, map out key strategic decision makers and influence people at all levels of the business
  • Understand the Marketing procurement process and how to navigate it effectively
  • Take an entrepreneurial approach to establish key relationships to win advertisers
  • Take lead in responding to RFPs, including qualification & win strategy
  • Coordinate global account discussions with counterparts in APAC and US regions
  • Build deep and lasting connections internally across The Trade Desk departments and specialty functions.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unrivalled selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Make a positive contribution to The Trade Desk company culture

Who you are

  • A proven track record in (online) advertising outbound sales
  • Experience at an online publisher, broadcaster, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising role
  • Experience establishing longstanding, consultative client relationships
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiation's ability, able to lead commercial negotiations
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to speak on different hierarchy levels
  • Passion for consulting customers with value, closing deals, and getting wins
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations.
