Senior Manager - Consumer Insights & Analytics, Marketing Efficacy

The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career.

The Senior Manager of Consumer Insights & Analytics will lead insights generation that guide audience strategy and marketing effectiveness across our TJX US Brands. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading insights on who we target with marketing and translating these insights into audience definitions across tools and channels. This individual and their team will also be responsible for leading the supplier relationship and insights development from our Marketing Mix Modeling methodology and the development of marketing testing and analysis plans with new tools and capabilities.

The successful candidate should have experience with audience strategy, return-on-investment measurement solutions, and development of marketing/media test plans. They should demonstrate strong analytic and insight generation, marketing and business acumen, and ability to distill complex data into a simple story. They will work cross-functionally with a wide variety of partners, including media leads, brand marketing leads, other consumer insights and analytic leaders, and external data partners.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead audience strategy for all TJX US brands through deep understanding of our consumer segmentation and current customer profile and identification of customer growth opportunities; Guide translation of audience into target definitions across channels/partners
  • Lead direct report on delivery of bi-annual Marketing Mix Modeling for all TJX US Brands, being responsible for all aspects of the process, collaborating across teams/data owners, and generating insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness
  • Guide development of learning plans to test new audience and marketing strategies via new tools and capabilities; Guide recommendations on expansion of marketing tests and tools
  • Diagnose factors driving marketing effectiveness including creative, audience, media placement, media channel/partner and develop recommendations to improve effectiveness
  • Lead integration of insights and recommendations across TJX marketing efficacy tools and capabilities to enable effectiveness principles and cross brand share and reapply
  • Oversee MMM and other media measurement vendor relationships

Who We Are Looking For: You.

  • Bachelor's degree; 8+ years of proven experience in Insights or Analytics
  • Experience in guiding consumer target/audience strategy and developing insights/recommendations from MMM
  • Experience leading insights to guide brand marketing and media decisions
  • Outstanding analytic skills with the ability to strategically analyze, dissect, and interpret data
  • Attention to details and ability to grasp the big picture
  • Adept at presenting complex concepts in an easy to understand and actionable way
  • Strong project management skills and comfortable in working in agile, fast paced environment
  • Experience influencing across a broad array of internal and external partners
  • Experience in leading a team to develop, analyze, synthesize, and communicate data and insights effectively
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products and data analysis tools

This position has a starting salary range of $111,300 to $144,800 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
