The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career

We are expanding our Risk Management team and have a new opportunity for an Insurance Manager. This is a hybrid position based in our Marlborough, MA offices. During the onboarding and initial training period, this position will require expanded onsite days to build relationships with key internal stakeholders and external business partners. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Risk Management, the Insurance Manager will be responsible for coordinating TJX's risk financing and insurance placement efforts.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with internal business partners and stakeholders, this position will gather data and information to prepare applications and supporting documentation to coincide with TJX's various insurance renewal cycles.
  • Monitor and maintain all corporate insurance policies to ensure coverage for exposures including D&O, EPL, Crime, Fiduciary, Cyber, and others.
  • Prepare and manage the Risk Management and Insurance budgets and forecasts, including cost allocations.
  • Evaluate the adequacy of limits and appropriateness of retentions/deductibles and identify how these may influence the Risk Management and Insurance budgets, forecasts and reconciliations.
  • Provide consultation and technical advice on function budget to various accounting and planning teams.
  • Track and monitor insurance schedules and related premiums; review actuarial estimations.
  • Assist preparation of presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage and manage key industry relationships including brokers, underwriters, actuaries, consultants, and third-party Managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Who We Are Looking For: You

  • Bachelors' degree required, concentration in Business, Finance or Risk Management preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Risk Manager, Insurance Manager, Property/Casualty Analyst, Underwriter, Insurance Broker or other related position in the property/casualty industry
  • ARM or CPCU designation or licensed insurance broker a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in Casualty Markets a plus
  • Hands on large scale budget management and accounting experience
  • Demonstrated thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure the highest standards for accuracy and completeness
  • Self-starter with energy and drive for results
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Superior analytical, quantitative, and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience delivering results through strategic negotiation
  • Developed skill collaborating and building effective working relationships with internal and external partners in a constantly evolving environment
  • Willingness to accommodate flexible work schedules to meet critical deadlines and maintain internal/external business relationships with teams across the globe
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft 365 suite

This position has a starting salary range of $90,200 to $115,200 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
