JOB SUMMARY

Working out of a TJX satellite office, interacts with vendors to support delivering an effective Product Safety/Trading Standards compliance service to the TJX Divisions in US, Canada and Australia. Supports the day by day operations across Europe partnering with buying, sourcing, compliance team, and vendors. Supports Compliance team in new vendor onboarding and/or compliance review against established standards. Supports the compliance processes and activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports Compliance team to maintain product policies, guidance and procedures to ensure compliance with US Canadian and Australian Product Safety/Trading Standards legislation to minimize disruptions to merchandise flow.

Position as point of entry for buying and sourcing queries and support.

Assists Compliance team to support and advice buyers, sourcers, and vendors to ensure goods are supplied in compliance with Product Safety/Trading Standards legislation and Company policy objectives.

Proactively supports Compliance team in developing relationships with Vendors in order to ensure requirements are followed.

Supports Compliance team in collecting information and documents for compliance processes and keeps track of noncompliant vendors.

Supports Compliance team in organizing training for buyers, sourcers, vendors and other relevant parts of the business.

Build and maintain effective cross - functional business partnerships with the support of the compliance team across all TJX Divisions and work with stakeholders to raise compliance and facilitate solutions.

KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to process changes quickly
  • Excellent Knowledge of English language
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize data
  • Flexibility and resilience, ability to work effectively in the grey
  • Ability to work with people at different levels and across multi-cultural geographies
