In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and developing communication standards, ensuring policies and procedures are consistently followed across multiple platforms. What You'll Do:

  • Delivers communication strategies and processes to ensure clear, concise, and timely communication reaches Field Store Operations audience. Continually assesses and improves the style and delivery of all store communications, policies and procedures via task management application and electronic resource library
  • Develops and implements enhancements to existing Store Operations communication systems, processes and programs including project and roll out plans
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert providing communication guidance, plans and tactics for Store Associate Engagement programs and Field Events
  • Assesses and informs the training approach needed to support communication platform enhancements and rollouts, in conjunction with the Sr Training Specialist, including documentation, policy and procedures and communications
  • Informs and develops associate engagement program content and deliverables, including Leadership and Engagement events and, vendor management, to enhance associate engagement and customer experience across all banners within TJX Canada
  • Communicates new Store Operations processes and programs to the Field Operational teams and ensures effective execution by providing continuous problem solving, procedural and technical support
  • Serves as an internal consultant and Store Operations representative on store communication applications and systems, procedures, and in-store processes

About You:

  • Minimum two (2) years communications experience preferably within retail and or corporate environment
  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Communication, Public Relations, or related field preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; strong editing, digital communication, proofreading, layout, and design skills; bilingualism an asset
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions, revise communication strategies to support the vision of the department
  • Strong organizational and project management skills by determining project requirements, timelines, and risks to launch and manage projects
  • Good knowledge of social media trends and tools; experience with SharePoint, intranet portals preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), digital communication platforms like WorkJam, Reflexis and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro, Dreamweaver)
  • Infographics, Presentations, Flyers and Posters using a Visual Design, Whiteboard Animations and Explainer Videos, Comics, Graphic artwork, Cartoon Callouts experience an asset

Salary Range: $60,082.50-$84,115.50 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
