Job Description

Purpose

Analyze, track and report supply chain health associated to major programs.

Key interfaces

Global Supply Chain Analytics, Global Procurement, Divisional leadership, and functional teams

Key Responsibilities

Support Supply Chain projects by performing data gathering, reporting, transactional activities and required data analysis from multiples sources.

Support (internal and external) customers' requests with an analytical perspective providing clear solutions to guarantee a healthy supply chain.

Develop high level reports and dashboards from scratch, based on data collected from multiple sources.

Engage with extended Supply Chain community into building capabilities to effectively export data from SQL environment.

Maintain existent Supply Chain Power BI dashboards and constantly look for improvement opportunities that provide an immediate impact.

Develop and implement strategies to manage inventory, ensuring efficient utilization and minimizing financial impact.

Collaborate with multifunctional teams, including procurement, sales, and operations, to identify and address inventory issues.

Conduct regular analysis of inventory levels, demand patterns, and market trends to forecast potential inventory risks.

Liaise with suppliers and negotiate return, disposal, or repurposing of inventory, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Implement inventory optimization techniques, such as demand forecasting, safety stock management, and inventory classification, to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.

Collaborate with internal customers to identify root causes of excess and obsolete inventory and develop preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.

Develop and maintain key performance indicators to measure and track inventory management performance.

Monitor and analyze inventory aging, obsolescence, and write-off trends, providing regular reports and recommendations to management.

Stay updated with industry best methodologies, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.

Train and mentor junior supply chain staff on effective inventory management techniques.

Experience & Qualification

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, information technologies or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Demonstrable experience of 5+ years as a Supply Chain Specialist or similar role, with a focus on inventory management and/or data analytics.

In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles, methodologies, and practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns.

Proficiency in using inventory management software and data analysis tools.

MS Excel expert, capable of set up extensive datasets, create pivot tables, perform complex searches and provide analytical recommendations.

Experience running and writing queries in translational databases (e.g.SQL, MS Access).

Strong analytics and statistical skills, resulting in the ability to collect and interpret data to drive Supply Chain decisions.

Experience with automation processes (any software, including analysis, implementation, maintenance and support).

Planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment using MRP/ERP tools (SAP, JDE, Oracle, M2M) is a plus.

Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers.

Ability to work under stress, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Inventory Management (CPIM) is a plus.

Previous experience designing and participating with lean processes to support analytics driven projects.

Power user in data visualization tools (Power BI desktop & service, Tableau).

Experience with ETL tools (Alteryx, Knie, Rapidmeter, Dataiku, etc) is a plus.
