Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving financial and market success in the region and providing region-level line-of-sight transparency (local pulse) to the various business groups. Be the voice of the customer and voice of sales into the commercial teams (product and commercial Directors).
  • Perform detailed analysis and routine reporting on Marketing business performance (i.e. revenue, unit/solution actual sales to forecast, campaign implementation status and Executive critical metric / CMB results) so that appropriate actions can be planned. Recommend actions based on, seasonality, market opportunities, pressures, key partner performance (including Digital and eCommerce) and related issues as appropriate.
  • Work with portfolio teams and sales leadership on price guidelines.
  • Plans and completes New Product Introductions (NPI) through innovative launch plans, collaboration with global and regional marketing partners where appropriate.
  • Delivering Omni-channel awareness and demand generation activities, ensuring sales enablement through use of tools, assets, and actions to drive consensus.
  • Providing insights to commercial teams regarding performance vs annual goals, set campaign important metrics, and PLM (Product Management) opportunities.

Focus: Segment Campaigns and New Product Launches!

  • Responsible for collaborating on global campaigns and local programs to drive demand across ANZ
  • Local communications, web and digital content, support functional preparation for campaigns
  • Industry and customer events.
  • CRM management and development.
  • Channel execution planning and post campaign analysis.
  • Digital marketing planning and eCommerce tactics with relevant teams.
  • Develops and implements local sales campaigns and programs and implement programs and activities to support company channels, including events, service partner activity and key account management priority programs (KAM team)!

Focus: Marketing Team Management:

  • Leading and developing a high-performance team with a 'customer first approach'.
  • Marketing team design, recruitment, training, setting of reasonable and specific performance objectives that align to the overall strategy (PMD goal setting).
  • Supporting and assisting the team with feedback and mentor.
  • Lead functional area budgets and allocation of resources, funding, expense reporting.
  • Ensure 100% compliance on corporate ethics training and PMD completion.

Focus: Leadership and Cross Business Partnership:

  • Collaborate with ANZ Marketing leadership team when required and participate as an active member of the Marketing and Commercial leadership teams (LSG, SDG, AIG, SSPG, LPG).
  • Partner with Commercial Directors, Sales, Legal, Finance and Portfolio, to co-ordinate and plan key campaigns, demand generation programs, events, and key customer and commercial events.
  • Evaluate Omni-channel priorities for programs, and commercial efficiency in partnership with key partners to drive positive impact to CX, productivity / efficiency, growth (value).
  • Collaborating closely with all other categories and functional groups across the business to enable effective marketing demand generation. Including a significant focus on cross-functional workflows and integration of investment and campaign opportunities where possible.
  • Accept and live the 4 'i' values (Intensity, Integrity, Innovation, Involvement) and ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Thermo Fisher Scientific values, policies and laws.
  • Drive connectivity cross-functionally with Digital, eCommerce and Data Science teams to harmonize effort and strategic alignment.

Goals:

  • Achievement of targets for eCommerce, Digital and contribution to Divisional AOP.
  • Achievement targets for sales ready leads, sales accepted leads, marketing Opportunities Won, contribution to revenues.
  • Timely delivery of campaigns and related CMB / performance reporting (DIFOT).
  • Customer Allegiance Score (CAS) for region and local ANZ EIS for team.
  • Customer measures - Mkt Share, Retention, Acquisition Growth.
  • Commercial Sales Team.

Minimum Qualifications, Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or business management.
  • 7+ years Marketing / commercial / brand management / Digital / eCommerce.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong oral and written communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to leverage tools and platforms (including SFDC, WorkFront, Eloqua, SAP etc.).
  • Microsoft Office skills across full suite of programs.
  • 5 years working with Digital, Data Science, eCommerce and how to drive growth and CX.
  • Experience collaborating with Senior Leadership Teams to understand commercial strategies.
