EU Engineering is currently recruiting for a role as Equipment Engineer

Main activities:

  • Participation and revision of the URS and consequent request for offers to possible suppliers and technical comparison in order to make the most suitable choice in terms of compliance with requirements, time and costs.
  • Project development up to the design review in collaboration with Suppliers
  • P&ID evaluation and discussion, layout, necessary utilities, constraints and interactions with other systems.
  • Works closely with suppliers to follow project development, timing control, and review / approval of received documentation
  • Supervises and coordinates installation, management of supplier planning, extra costs, management of the open point list up to commissioning, completing with active support to qualification phases
  • Responsible for Equipment as part of a Project team
  • Availability to travel for FAT activities and kick-off participation, or project management and advancement status for the projects through European Sites

Skills / Qualifications

  • Technical Graduation: Mechanical or Chemical Graduation preferably
  • Demonstrate proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, at least 1 or 2 years.
  • Know-how on main pharma manufacturing process - aseptic, oral dose, packaging
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Know-how on pharma technologies (at least basic) and market suppliers mainly for aseptic production (washer, tunnel, filler, capper, freeze dryer, autoclave) but also oral solid dose (granulation line, tablet press, coating machine) and packaging (blisters, vials and PFS cartoning)
  • Know how on commissioning and qualification steps
  • Strong ability and experience in collaborating with other Company's department and Predisposition and habit of collaboration and working with other team members
  • Good English
  • Excellent teammate with the ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility to cope with project and Company needs
  • Flexibility to travel
