Roles and Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible for achieving the Product Specialist Number for the region & will handle individually key Strategic accounts
• Should be capable of and experienced in presenting and demonstrating Molecular, Cellular and Protein workflows to customers in wet demos in the lab and will be required to troubleshoot customer queries.

• Experience of handling imaging, flow cytometry, Immunoassays and western blotting workflows would be required.
• Team management experience is not a requisite but must certainly have managerial attributes and perform in cross functional teams
• Will continuously interact with the Sales teams and make sure that Product Specialist priorities are aligned to regional sales numbers
• Additional responsibilities will include Analysis of Sales report and raising any red flags on product line performances and suggesting remedial focus actions
• Would be responsible for Collecting tender information, making sure right tenders are pitched for and keeping a record of regional Win / loss for the tenders
• Should have the ability to conduct trainings for internal teams and channel partners. Will need to present in Scientific Forum such as conferences, technical seminars and Product launch events. Conduct Roadshows and other marketing activities to generate leads.

• Responsible for planning and execution of Roadshows, Workshops and other demand generation activities.

Knowledge and Skills required for the role:

• Excellent Sales acumen along with advanced Life sciences workflows

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
• MSc or PhD in Biological Sciences with good understanding of advanced Life sciences workflows
• PhD is not a requisite. Excellent Sales acumen along with advanced technical expertise is mandatory

• At least 3-4 years of customer facing experience as Application Specialist / Product Specialist/ Product Manager

• Flexible to travel upto 70% time
