The job:

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our globally distributed team of highly engaged and collaborative software marketing experts to help drive our growth in biopharmaceutical research, development and manufacturing.

As the ideal candidate, you will provide market insights, application understanding and software knowledge for our biopharmaceutical, and optionally, omics, markets. You will deliver high value, high quality marketing collateral to support our go-to-market strategies. You will also become our marketing champion as the primary interface for biopharma-related interactions with the commercial teams and divisional/business unit peers.

This role will be fully remote (working from home) based anywhere in Europe, or, anywhere in Central or Eastern timezones in the USA. Some international travel will be required - up to 25% of working time - including overnight stays.

What will you do?

  • Lead or guide development of biopharma, and ideally omics, software specific application collateral, demo videos and slide shows
  • Be the go-to person and key subject matter authority for peers on all software related matters for the biopharma market
  • Collaborate with BioPharma Vertical Marketing to use their application content and provide consultancy for biopharma software applications
  • Develop and deliver agreed marketing tactics on time as defined in the annual marketing plan with a focus on biopharma including, impactful customer-facing marketing collateral, sales and support trainings for product positioning to internal and external customers and competitive analysis and winning points for our software offerings
  • Understand, document and share market and customer needs for the target markets
  • Provide input to Product Managers and core team regarding key customer criteria for successful future product roadmap and feature improvements

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, analytical sciences or similar
  • Several years' marketing experience in a similar role
  • Five or more years' working in a biopharmaceutical or omics role, either in research, development, manufacturing or marketing
  • In-depth understanding of biopharma market drivers and applications is essential; a good understanding of market drivers and applications in the omics marketspace is highly desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory and day-to-day operational requirements of biopharma labs
  • Strong understanding of software used in biopharma labs
  • Be self-motivated and used to working remotely towards challenging goals within a diverse and distributed team
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Excellent proficiency in English language
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Willing and able to travel internationally up to 25% of working time, including overnight stays

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in United Kingdom is £50,400.00-£75,600.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
