Our group

Advanced Manufacturing Engineering is a cross-functional and agile team committed to eliminating manufacturing constraints and waste. We work towards Late Stage Customization, Iterative and Continuous Process Improvement, and Purpose-Built Equipment and Processes. As an integral member of our team of data-visualization experts, analysts, engineers and programmers, you'll support the identification of wastes and development of solutions to a full range of applicable product types. Insights and recommendations you provide will improve profitability, quality and engagement of our manufacturing teams.

Daily Challenges

  • Analyze large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand equipment behavior, process impact, and apply statistical and logical techniques to identify root causes
  • Apply fundamental statistical models to identify correlation of parameters and data changes to automated processes to develop key actions to improve our processes
  • Use tools such as Ignition, Minitab, R, Excel and PowerBI to present and understand data in novel ways
  • Interpret and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical team members
  • Brainstorm new improvements to streamline current techniques
  • Mentor junior colleagues in data analysis, engineering solutions and manufacturing best practices

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

To be successful in your future job, the following experience and aptitudes are important:

  • Highly motivated, critical thinker with a passion for learning and affecting change
  • A strong desire for continuous learning and a willingness to experiment and try new things
  • Ability to work in a multi-functional team and eagerness to implement change
  • Strong lean manufacturing background and experience
  • High School Diploma Required and 2+ years Experience in Data Analytics. Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred with exposure to data analytics for data-driven decision-making
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for crafting and presenting compelling reports and presentations
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (such as Power BI) and SQL databases
